Project Management Mentors (PMM) Tip Of The Day.
Lessons Learned… If it ain’t broke, improve it!
When making our new year’s resolutions, many people “shoot for the moon,” and when they fall short, they regress back to their old ways. Kaizen is making small incremental improvements, and has been proven to be very effective in a variety of process areas. At the end of your project meetings, ask each participant for their input as to how the meeting went. (e.g. participation, desired outcome, proper facilitation, respect people, meeting agenda/rules.)
Or, you could also simply ask, “How did we do on these three categories:
People… Process… Product…”?
